My interest in ghosts stems from when I was 7 years old, and even though I was willing to go into hauntings at this young age, it wasn't until the summer of 1995 that I became a member of the Northern branch of the Ghost Club Society. Unfortunately, our branch collapsed shortly afterwards, but because of a few zealous members (myself included), we set up Ghost Quest - with the phrase "our mission in life is to look for ghosts" - in October 1996.

We're looking for haunted locations (e.g. graveyards, houses, parks, hotels, ruined halls etc.) for our research. We're trying to photograph earthbound spirits (look at the orbs at Castle Hill under the story Light Fantastic) or images from the past. Our research could take years on each location. It's took us five years of intensive research to get orbs at Castle Hill with a 35mm camera, and to narrow the activity to a small section of footpath.

We're also conducting research on daylight sightings of ghosts (especially ghosts walking past windows in sunlight).
