Another haunted rubble is Errwood Hall in Goyt Valley.

Samuel Grimshaw, who had his own school and chapel, built the hall in 1830.

The hall (along with the rest of the village) was pulled down because of pollution in Fernilee Reservoir.

The spirit of the schoolmistress is often seen greeting visitors.
